Pushkar fair is a livestock and a camel fair of five days from the Kartik ekadashi to Kartik Poornima, held in the Pushkar town of Ajmer district.
It is one of the world’s largest camel fairs. People buy and sell their livestock, which includes camels, cows, sheep and goats.
The full moon day is the main day when the Hindu god Brahma sprung up the Pushkar Lake, due to which numerous people swim in its sacred waters. The fair attracts thousands of tourists from throughout the world.
